Juicing Orange

Juicing Orange
Note: When juicing citrus fruits it is highly recommended that you remove the outer skin first

Oranges are the 3rd major source of vitamin C, after guava and kiwi, this is why they are great for adding into juices. The vitamin C can help to strengthen and stimulate our immune system, which helps to make it defensive against bacteria and viruses.

By consuming oranges, our skin can maintain a healthy glow, making us look younger, this is because oranges are such a great antioxidant. The vitamin C also helps with this as it helps to purify the skin from wastes and oils.

Oranges are also rich in fibres that can help keep our digestive tract moving along. These fibres can help to cleanse harmful and unwanted materials from our bodies, this can therefore ease constipation.

Oranges are a good source of calcium, which is beneficial for our teeth and bones, making them stronger and healthier.

Orange juice has also been said to be helpful in aiding the body’s absorption of iron, which lowers our risk of anaemia.
